Lara Sabrina Yilmaz

Lara Sabrina Yılmaz (born 2001, Izmir, Turkey) is a contemporary abstract artist of Levantine heritage, blending French, Italian, and Turkish cultural influences. Her work explores the universal emotion of longing, inspired by the concept of saudade—a deep sense of yearning intertwined with hope. 

Through abstract painting, Lara invites viewers to project their own emotions and experiences onto her canvases, creating a personal and introspective dialogue. Her artistic journey has been shaped by travel, personal loss, and a desire to connect emotionally with others. 

Lara has exhibited internationally, including at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, where her work gained recognition for its emotional depth and expressive freedom.
